What Are Regions?

The ATAI works Nationally but is also broken up into several smaller Regional Groups, some are by county or a larger geographical region, who organise events and meetings (sometimes workshops) to cater for Art Teachers in those localities. Some Areas do not have formal organised groups. If you would be interested in setting one up, you should contact The National President

Limerick

The new Limerick branch was launched in May, 2012. Committee members are Sarah Bolger, Marie McMahon, Edel Hogan and Grace O'Hara. We are delighted this region is now represented by their own branch. Members in other regions with no formal committee can attend events and meetings here too.

Dublin

The Dublin Region is the largest of the Regions and caters for Art Teachers in Dublin, Kildare, Meath and Wicklow. Members in Nearby regions may attend events also if they so wish.

The Cork region represents Teachers in Cork City & County. It was re-established in 2009 and is one of the most successful and active regions, despite still being in it's infancy. Members in Local regions with no formal committee can attend events and meetings here.

Donegal Region represents Co Donegal. The Donegal region, though small is very active and has many wonderful events.
