What the ATAI does
The ATAI works on a Regional structure. All of the regional groups are affiliated to the National Organisation. The association provides collegiality, support and a forum for discussion and for the exchange of information.
Meetings
National meetings are held in Dublin, three times during the year which are informative and helpful. The AGM is held in October. The meetings are held in either IMMA, Royal Hospital, Kilmainham, Dublin 8 or in Collins Barracks, Dublin. These are open to all members of ATAI. The Regional Liaison officers bring issues to the attention of the National Committee and report back to their local group.
Who Can Attend?
These meetings are open to all members of ATAI. Those wishing to attend who are not members may join on the day of the meeting. Each region has a Representative who bring Regional issues / news to the attention of the National Committee and report to their Region in the form of a Regional Report, and reports back to Regions.
DES & SEC
We also have regular meetings with the Department of Education & Skills Inspectorate and with the State Examinations Commission.
