A new National Committee was elected at the AGM of the ATAI on Saturday 30th of November. I'd like to congratulate and welcome five new committee members to the National Executive, Catherine Hennessy (President), Natasha Edmondson (Vice President), Dawn O'Sullivan (Secretary) Maria Murray (Treasurer), Mary O'Mahony (PRO) and I'd also like to thank two previous committee members, Amy Lomasney and Catherine Jordan for staying on for another year in their posts. The web committee will remain as before.
The Annual Gerneral Meeting of the Art Teachers' Association will take place at the Crawford Art Gallery, Emmet Place, Cork City on Saturday November 30th, 2.00pm - 4.30pm. The Art Teachers' Association of Ireland is one of the longest established Subject Associations in Ireland. It was set up in 1950 by Patrick Heney. It is run on a voluntary basis by and for qualified Art Teachers.We are the formal voice of Art Teachers in Ireland, and have representatives on various educational committees NCCA, SARG, InSEA.
